hi all, problems once more! is it possible to copy the views from my linked file to the main file!! with retaining the VG. somehow i can't get the VG from my linked file into the main file!! It keeps missing the detail lines from my linked file in tha main file, and i cannot select in the VG the "by linked view", because it is not there probably i tried save views as, but this only works for 2d probably and not models. what next!, i don't want to merge my models, that stupid!! does it mean that only the floorplan VG settings can me obtained from the linked file and not the sections and elevations!!! Grtz E
