So I've been looking through all the posts about schedules and I'll be damned if I can find the information I'm looking for. In the attached BMP called AB Sched, it shows how our AutoCAD schedules are set up with additional merged cells at the bottom of the table providing additional information directly rellated to that schedule. We're trying to mimic this in revit and the second BMP attached shows our closest approximation. Is there away to add additional rows to the bottom of the table so that we can add in "general notes" about the schedule?

REVIT's schedules would be great if they allowed us to add cells at will like in excel but since they don't I use a work around. For schedules like this, I format my schedule without cell lines. I then draw all of my lines on my drawing sheet and add text accordingly. Sometimes I even turn off the scedule headers and add my own on the sheet. Of course this means that the scedule / border is no longer automatic so I have to verify that addition lines were not added or subtracted before outputting.

Ugh... that's exactly the answer I was hoping I wouldn't get. Well maybe things will change come RST2009. Thanks anyway

gee, it was only a year ago that you asked this, so i'm sure you've come up with a solution that works for you... but my solution for this was to just create a drafting view for the notes - applied to the sheet under the schedule without a view tag.
