Hi, Im trying to show a stone wall, (which i can create with the render image) but a stone wall that has partly been demolished so it is seen on elevation as an irregular tapered wall. Any suggestions on how to do this? Many thanks

If you mean demolished along its length/height, just edit the elevation profile of the wall. Pick wall, edit profile and then draw the taper you want. This will affect any joins the wall may already have with roofs etc.

You can do one of two things, you can create a in-place wall family and have the mcursetaper as a blend. Also you can create a mcursewith the angles that you want and select curtain system by face and pick the surfaces you want to make, then you just change the panel style to whatever material you want, thickness, etc. and viola you have a sloped wall.
