I imported a contour map into Revit to create topo. The file was created by CAGIS. I checked in AutoCAD, and the lines are all assigned the right elevations. But when I import into Revit and create a toposurface, the lines are at the right elevation relative to one another, but not at the right absolute elevation. They should be in the 800's, and instead they're in the 500's. I'm not sure how to fix this. I'm on Revit Architecture 2008.

Your coordinates are probably incorrects from one programto another. First off did you import center to center or origin to origin? Center to center would mess you up. Secondly you may need to aquire coordinates from the autocad file. Alternatly you can build the site in another Revit file and then link the 2 together. This way you can push/ pull corrdinates between models. HTH Nick
