Just wondering if anyone knows how to place railing posts automatically when you place the railing. Or do you have to place them manually then place the railing in between. Thanks in advance.

When you go to the Type Properties for a Rail and click on Edit Balusters (or something similar...I'm not at a Revit machine right now) it brings up the dialogue box that lets you set the baluster main pattern. Down at the bottom of this dialogue box is a portion that deals with posts. You tell it the family to use and how to space them, how to align them and whether you want them at ends, corners, etc. from there. PS to Site Moderator: I accidentally hit "Report Offensive Post" when I was going to "Edit" my post. Sorry.

Ive have been trying to change these settings but the only seem to deal with posts at the start, end, and corner of the railing. Ideally it would be handy to get it to place the posts every 1200mm for example. Is this possible?
