I have just completed cd's (in Revit 9) for the core and shell of a 5 story office building.  Construction has not begun and I already have a tenant who is taking 2 1/2 stories.  Since makingthe switch from Architecture 08 to Revit 9, I have not encountered this situation yet and am unclear as to the best way to move forward.  Should I:

a) create a new project and link/import the core and shell (c/s) in - or

b) change all c/s elements to the exisitng phase and create a new phase for this tenant? or

c) create a workset for this tenant?

Any thoughts and or comments would be greatly appreciated -

Whoot.

In our office we probably would give the tenant portion a new job number so we would create a new model from the shell model and then convert everthing existing over to the existing phase and start fresh from there.

Yes this would work, but in my situation the shell and cores have not been fully documented yet either as the tenant fitout is happen along side of the shell. How would one best utilize this? Right now we have a shell model and a tenant mdoel. The shell model is linked into the tenant model. BUt now we have a door that is being supplied ny the tenant into a wall that was to be built in the shell model. what is the best way to handle this? we would like the door beings upplied by the tenant to be included in the schedule of the shell. The door will have to be inserted into the shell model in the wall in the correct location or that wall would need to be copy/monitored so teh door could eb put in the wall in the tenant model. Am I correct in saying these are our best options?
