Greetings all,

Working on site content.  (Currently have Revit MEP 2008, but I have Revit Architecture 2008 in the mail).

I'm trying to figure out how to set up a arc based family, if that is possible.  I've found out that in REVIT you cannot assign a parameter (or at least I can't) to a dimension for arch length.  The issues I was hoping to solve is that if I'm laying out a parking plan and the run is based on a arc then I could load this family up either pick a arc and it would automatically array the striping along the arch so that the minimum distance between striping is 8ft.  Since I don't have much experience with the creating of the more complex families I was hoping someone could tell me if its not possible, or if it is.. and if it is. how would I go about it.

 Thanks,

 Michael

You are correct about adding a lable to an arc dimension.

You could however, apply a lable to the arc degrees and it will act the same way, just a little extra thought to it.
