Hi,

How do you insert a background photo into a perspecive view?

Its easy.. Select rendering tab. Then select settings. Then enviroment. Select background image. Once selected it goes to a select bitmap option (search computer for picture) . Once you find the picture you can adjust its location withen the view port. Say OK and OK....Thats it...

Hmmm... tried that, but the photo only appears when i do a raytrace... how do i get it to appear in normal model view so that i can stretch it to correct scale?

I am not possitive but I dont think that it is possible.. See if others know...Maybe ask Admin.

I believe the best thing to do is insert the 3D image into a blank titleblock. Import the background image into the same sheet. Shift things around, apply the right visibility settings, and that should be the closest thing you can do w/ Raster images.

This is a very poor work around, but Revit is really weak w/ image manipulation.
