Hi, I am currently working on a recreating a house. The structure has brick and vinyl siding on the exterior wall of the house. I would like to know how do I apply brick and vinyl siding on the wall and how do I measure the two on the plans? In constructing my wall composition I see something about "Split Region" does that have something to do with applying the two?

What the wall looks like is all about the materials assosiated with it. There are wall syles that have been already created that have a brick and vinyl combination. If you are looking for a wall that is both visulaly and structurallly wat you want then you would need to go into the wall properties and addust its structure. (the core is the stud layer and the finish on both sides is what ever you make it. Play with it and if you have problems let me know. A fast way to see what a material would look like is to use the paint bucket, select material, then select the surface in a 3d view. You can also use sweeps to create a brick veneere. When using sweeps it is all about the profile. Again play with it and let me know what you think or what proplems you run in to.

Thank you so much for your reply. I consulted with my professor and figured out that if I go into the wall properties I can add vinyl and brick so that it is the exact measurement of the construction document. Using the "Sweep" feature I can modify the exterior wall so that the vinyl and brick are exactly as it appears on the structure. Thank you again for your time. Have a great day!
