Ok here's the question: How do I dimension to a wall intersection that forms a "point" instead of a right angle? It seems that Revit locks onto wall faces and not point interesctions, can anybody shed some light on this? TIA John

Try hovering over the intersection and hit the Tab key to cycle through the select options until the point is highlighted then select that. The first choice is usually the wall face.

You should be able to use tab to cycle to the point. You may have to start from where you want to dimension the point, not on the point itself.

Guys I see the toggle happening at some "points" but not all of them. One point I'm trying to dimension to right now doesn't toggle. Any clues as to why?

This seems to only work for me if I am dimensioning wall faces and not cores. (Not sure if this is the case). The other option you have if it is being particularily stubborn is to draw a detail line to the corner you need dimensioned and run your dimension to that. You can then go back and change that detail line to invisible so that it does not show up.

I don't "think" I'm dimensioning to cores, but the wall in question has extremely obtuse angles to it. LOL I resorted to almost using that idea, I have gone right this moment to Refernce Plans to dimension to. It's working (as well as it can), but there are now a lot of reference plans to this wall. I was trying to avoid this.
