Every once in a while I attempt to render something but it always comes out so dark. What am I missing? I've tried all the tricks. Letting light through the window cutting holes in the ceiling.

Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

dbtahoe,

Revit alows you to adjust you lighting (settings). It also alows you to make adjustments after the image has been generated. Select "Adjust Image", this then gives you Brightness,Contrast, and Indirect. Hope this helps..Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Have you tried using radiosity?  Given the simplicity of your scene, it seems that it would be worth while.  Note that you would need to use the daylight tool under View>Rendering menu.  Pick the window or windows that will provide daylight.  Set up the light settings and radiate.  This will definitely improve your results.
