Hey dabbler45,

This process has really been simplified in 2008.

The easy way, go to:

www.extensions4revit.com (currently under construction)

and download their extensions. You will need their engine and what not.

After you install them you have a new tool bar and menu inside RST that will have import/export options on it.

The really nice thing is you will be able to export to the native Robobat file.

I would also look at downloading the other extensions as thay can be really helpful.

HTH

Thanks Brett.

I will try that when the site is up and running.

Cheers

Hi Brett

I have downloaded extensions. Stlli cannot open Robot file with Revit. I am working over a network, so the Robot and Revit programmes are on different machines.  I believe I need to have at least an unlicensed version of Robot on same machine as Revit is on. Is this true ?

Regards

Les

Hey,

Yes, you will want to have at least one version of Robot on your computer.

If you go to robobat's website, they do offer a freeware download that might be able to help you out.
