Hello,  I need to make a Misc. detail page for my project.  We are doing a hybrid for this project where some buildings are in cad and some are in revit (our office wants to dip its toes in the water before diving in)  Therefore, we have all of our detail for the overall project on sheets in cad.  Is there a good way that i can bring this sheet into revit and crop out the details i don't need for my building.  I tried using masking regions, but whenever i bring those drafing view onto a sheet, the masking regions are covering other views on that sheet. WHY CANT WE JUST BE ABLE TO CROP DRAFTING VIEW!!!! (any news on release 11?)

Thank you

OPTION 1 -If you would wblock each AutoCAD detail out of its drawing to a seperate file (SANS Detail/Section title), you could import or link these into seperate drafting views and place these in REVIT sheets.  (These ACAD "Blocks" could then be legacy details for use in other REVIT projects.)

OPTION 2 - Set up you AutoCAD sheet with the correct titles and print it independent of REVIT.  In REVIT, create a fake sheet - cut your sections and details - call outs and place them in the same order as the autocad.  Then don't print this drawing.  You loose all of your REVIT coordination but the set will look right.
