Edward Stanley Engineers is dedicated to providing our clients with creative and innovative structural solutions that complement the architectural design and are at the same time efficient and constructible. We strive to be a valuable collaborator and a unique resource for our clients. We are equally resolute in providing a high level of service punctuated by responsiveness and adherence to deadlines. Our portfolio of design and investigative experience is diverse, including adaptive reuse, new building design, historic preservation, facade investigations and repairs, and residential design. Materials that we design with include timber, glass, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, masonry, terra cotta, stone, steel and concrete, and adhesives. Edward Stanley Engineers employs the latest finite element analysis software to model whole building structural systems or discrete critical structural components. We create the models to explore with our architectural clients various solutions to their tectonic concepts while manipulating geometry and component properties. Our peers, ACEC/CT, have recently recognized us with a 2005 Engineering Excellence Award and the 2005 Small Firm Award. (American Council of Engineering Companies/Connecticut). We share our knowledge with high school students and we introduce them to the fields of Architecture, Construction and Engineering by participating as mentors in the Connecticut ACE Mentor Program.
