Will adding a slope arrow on the floor do the job? If not, try el dados' tutorial on complex floors and slabs http://www.revitcity.com/tutorials/complex_slabs/ The sidewalk will be a roof instead of a floor attached to a mass. The path for the mass will be patterned after a split toposurface converted into a mass. Finish the roof with concrete or any finish you like and make the lines invisible using the pen tool. I think there is also a family on the downloads section, a slab that slopes, just download that but I haven't tried using the family yet. HTH
