also if you have Autocad Architecture you can run the Napkin Sketch command on it also to get the hand drawn look. HTH

also in autocad there is an option, up from 2007 version i guess, when u activate the "dashboard" from tools/palettes, extend the menu of "visual style control panel", click on little cube symbols and scroll the bars to make your changes on your drawing.

Before my office switched to Revit, we used to use Sketchup all the time for out 3d renderings etc. It's a fun program to play with.

If you guys are on subscription you can just download Impression 2, its free and you can use Revit in either dwf or dwg exported format. It is super easy.

Yeah I'm a big fan, I'll usually use the dwg format then you can just change the layers. Once I started using Impression my sketchy rendering went from a day or two in Piranisi and Photoshop to an hour or so in Impression, and you can update revisions to the files to which is nice.

I like *Piranesi alot but I did have some troubles with it, the most frustrating was for whatever reason it would crash and corrupt my image alot, although the end product was great. I also love taking 3ds Max renders and running through Piranesi with the different effects like watercolor, hand sketched, and oil paintings. My reasons for choosing Impression over Piranesi is ease of use and speed (also dwf support). I love the fact I can export my 3D Revit images in in literally minutes in Impression your sketchy renders begin to take shape. I think for a no cost solution that anybody can learn to use in no time flat Impression II is awesome. It's about time Autodesk rewards their loyal customers with such a great program for free.
