WWHub I have ran into the same problem the rest have had. Let me see if I can explain it in a different way. 

 

I have created a drafting view detail and have referenced it about six times in the project (I have not needed a Reference Label with this six). The problems come into play with the seventh time I reference this same detail because it does need the Reference Label. I have duplicated the original head and added Sim to the Reference Label (works great). The problem is that now the first six callouts I placed now also have the Sim text. If I change them back to the callout without the Reference Label then they all change even the one I want to have the text. 

I have callouts say Sim and ones which do not in the project. All of them are working fine. I am only running into this problem when referring to a single detail view and wanting some of them so have a Reference Label and some to not.

From what I have read this is not possible but just wanted to check again since this is an old post. I am using rvt 14

I think your only solution will be to add SIM as text in the callout location.  This function does not seem to work as you want.
