I am new to revit (great so far) and have done a overview tutorial but canot curently justify hours of turorials so I am learning on a project. Drawing the existing conditions of a residence (which will later get an addition), one of those lovely old house where nothing lines up, is regular or meets code. as such the stairs became an issue initially revit tried to draw code compliant stairs and they fell several feet short of high nough, I convinced it to go higher but it still had too few treads, I read the above which taught me to add the treads, however I now cant get it to reaportion itself equaly, so the stairs are uneven and several feet to tall. No matter what adjustment I try it gives me a "constraints not met" or "actual stairs violate alowable" instead of it actually adjusting the stairs. please advise

OK So I know have the correct number of treads/risers and they are spaced evenly. However the top riser extends above the plane of the floor by almost its whole hieght, esentially all of the risers need to be shorter for it to fit, but I dont know how to make it do that. Thanks
|

Hey Mr Spot, how did you manage to get the landing bit of the rail (the curved bit) to continually slope up? Could you please upload a file where you created it like that?
