PPDMark -

I don't believe your network file corruptions are a REVIT issue.  There are just too many of us on this forum operating in a network environment and we are not having a problem with 9.1   One of our current projects with 5-6 people on it  is at 90 meg and just going into CD.  The only real problem so far with that project has been having too many AutoCAD files linked.

I have removed Etrust Antivirus from both systems on the peer network and have replaced it with other (unrelated) antivirus software. With minimal testing (2 hours) I haven't been able to replicate the problem. It may be that Revit's file saving and some Antivirus scanning/locking methods are the culprit. It is worth a try if you are experiencing this problem.

Very interesting that you mentioned eTrust antivirus!

We have the very same problem in our office, I suspected the a/v (eTrust) was the culprit, now I am sure.

eTrust is being deleted first thing in the morning!

A lot of my clients have more than 5 users in their office some getting as big as 50 people. Most don't have this problem with upgrading so it could be a matter of something that is particular. Someone suggested that it could be the antivirus programs that usually scan constantly. This could be feasible as the problem clients are running those antivirus programs and when they change to another everything seems to be fine. Then again other clients running those same programs don't have these problems. This is a bit of a pickle problem.
