So if I knew someone that has ADT can they get me Revit for $1495. And if so, will the license be under them or my own? Post edited on 2006-05-10 13:30:54

ok so  i downloaded the trial version of revit from the autodesk site, and i was going to ask my dad to buy me a student perpetual license, and what im asking is is it possiable to purchase the license file, then download the file instead of paying for the entire program.

it's all the same thing, what you are purchasing is the license. the program that you download is the complete Revit program. it will run for 30 days and after that you will need a license. when you buy the student version you get a student license. but i think there are no upgrades with the student license.
