Every now and then I keep getting a "Feet per second squared" error when saving to Central.  Followed by a File not saved.  What in the world is that error all about?

today someone else got a Suare meters per meter error.

Is this happening in one project only? Does the file still save?  Take a screen shot of the expanded error message and attach it.

It has happend on a couple of projects.  We have sent the file to Autodesk to see what they can tell us.

Haha I just tried to open a file that I have been working on for weeks now and got the error message: Kilometers per second squared - Cancel?

This is totally random, I am not working with anything that would need to deal with a measurement or conversion of acceleration.  Anyone figure out what's causing these errors?  Just trying to draw some boxes and set up sheets for project review with the city.  Looks like the backup files are fine, just the main that has been corrupted.

I literally was adding some detail lines to a site plan yesterday, edited a subregion of the topo, saved as normal and now this...?

Has anyone got an update on this error? Just had an error pop up saying "Square Feet per foot" and then won't save.

Any update will be appreciated!

Update, I came across another thread with similar error message "inches to the forth power" and it looks like it's a disk space issue. I deleted some files as suggested off of my flash drive and saved fine!

Hope this helps.

I'd second the disk space issue mentioned by #SRMiller as the culprit- I was getting the "Square Feet per foot" error until I cleared some disk space (hadn't realised I had used it all up). Made some space and problem solved.

Sorry I believe you are incorrect. This message has to do with your project units and it relates to disk space.  If you clean up your disc space to free up more space on your network or computer your problem should be solved.

It is not a free space issue. I am getting Square Meters per Meter error and have PLENTY of free space..

Not sure if this is the problem or not but hear me out.  Microsoft has always had an addressable memory problem - especially with directories.  I'm not a computer genius so I can't fully explain what it is - I have just dealt with it all the way back,  Even as the systems progressed in total memory, they have never gotten fullly away from this error.

So try this and see if it works - if so please post.  Run c-cleaner to clean up all your files... especially temp file.

I had a similar error and it did turn out to be a disk space issue.  Glad I found this post.
