I had tried many time with VG but it still doen't work. The floor isn't hidden. The underplay is only show visible/invisible with opaque things, so it doesn't affect railings and stairs.
I don't believe ability's VG of Revit. Just through the same my stairs and railings. There're two different results with the same setting

You said there is an underlay - get rid of it.

I know the rid of the underlay. But I seldom use it. Anyway, we can get on manually by "hide element/category". And now, I still get trouble with stairs and railings below the floor.

Had similar problem, resolved by switching from Wireframe to Hiddenline view

I realize this is a long time afterwards, but just wanted to say thanks to Bish. simple solution is sometimes the hardest to think of. this was the issue in my case and i take it from Khuongledinh's silence, that it sorted her issue also.
