Revit's native tracking is great, but my problem is that the revisions only track the current status of the project, so I add in an extra column on the Sheet Schedules each time I issue the drawings using the 'Create Parameter' function & call it YYY.MM.DD (adjust as required) and use that to keep track of the revisions issued - Obvioulsy this is a manual operation to fill in each sheet, but it means that Revit then keeps all the drawing issues in one place.

I also create dummy sheets that are filtered out of the actual drawing sheets to produce another sheet schedule showing consultants information (I call these 'role' and include or exclude the term), this then has the same date parameters available to it to produce the schedule as in the attachment
