Hi all,
I am trying to construct a roof by actually placing each element of the roof as it will be constructed ie. rafters, purlins etc.
When using the component function and selecting a structural family I have loaded (eg. 140x40 timber beam) I am able to place this beam however, I am able to see the beam in 3D only. I would like to see the beam in a section view as well. All I see is a single line.
Is there a setting I need to adjust or am I using the wrong family?

Change the detail level of the view to medium or fine.

Hi Mr Spot,
Thanks for that.
Don't you just love it when someone points out the obvious.
Cheers
