I mean more help than samples and tips. Those are all you get for free, after that you are in work territory and I'm going to ask for compensation. I do like open source, but only to a certain point. While I like working with Revit, I don't do it for giggles. I do it because I get payed to do so. Anything built on my own time you are welcome to have. However, most of what I have done doesn't belong to me, and I have no right to give it to you.

i can copy any model from the revit city gallery and

make exactly the same project out of it- whether i

have the file or not.. if they send me the revit project file

to help me learn- (which they have several times)- i would

start it from scratch anyway- using my own style of accuracy..

some people don't want to go TOO FAR helping beginners-

even if it costs them nothing..

but somebody thinking i'm going to say it's my design

and profit from it at their loss- especially if i'm a revit

student and it's something from revit city- is the kind of

thinking that will not allow someone to be successful in

the world of architecture..

if a revit user is under contract creating a project for a

client- then obviously that's a different story.. and in that

case they usually wouldn't post it to the revit city gallery

anyway..

revit is the first "intelligent" program for architecture- and

to use it successfully one needs to train themselves in the

general use of logic.. they need to become an intelligent

person- or revit will not work for them..

here you can find some videos, down below in that post is the downlad link... as others said, is pretty hard to "give away" samples proyects. Even is hard to just give away families, you make a contract to the person your building is designed for, and you cant just "give it away", you just know its going to be copied 1000 times.

@vector23

Agreed!

@nastyclown

I've actually got this page bookmarked. I've been using the official guide and forums on the Revit site. Thanks!

Yes, I absolutely understand the legal issues behind commissioned work and client related projects. When I first asked for sample projects, I only intended to ask for open-sourced public files and assumed work related projects are out of the question. There's no need to clarify that, but thanks to all for making it very very clear.
