Now I found a work around at least for my own problem. I've figured out to move the image files from the company server to my local computer, then it actually renders. It's weird that Revit is able to show the image file in 'realistic' view but is unable to find them when rendering. Even more weird that it's not warning about these images missing but do warn about others that are actually missing .. This work around is not a real solution, so I'd still be very glad if anyone can think of some setting that may have been changed during software update which could have caused this. It's the same on more than one updated computer.

Wow, I have been trying for 20 minutes on that problem, and putting the image on my local computer worked for me too.
I don't like it though - it is a much better habit to have all content on the project server.
(I had already added the path to the Options -> Rendering menu, too)

Having the same problem, but my images are already on my own computer, not on the server. Maybe I ought to locate them to the server! ;-)
Although.... my drawing is being saved to the server...
I thought that perhaps the images were not the right size, but that isn't the case. They are picked up in "realistic" just as 'asser' has stated.
Any more info on this one?

Today I had this problem (never had it before, don´t know what happened here....). I put the image file on the same folder that my project file is saved. It worked for me...
Thx

old thread i know, but this is really weird. this file wouldn't show "realistic" views of the decals at all in 2012. I upgraded it to 2013 and it instantly worked. then I mess around with image4.jpeg and poof, it went black....YET all the others remained perfect. how in the world do you explain that one when just minutes ago they were ALL working...?
