i just can't help commenting on your avatar-

it's just about the best one i've ever seen at

revit city..

 

and yes we know very well a lot of people

around the world follow this forum constantly-

like about 163,481 members alone- and i'm

sure there are many more who just read and

learn ..

 

even when i'm part of a useless conversation

going on in this forum i try desperately to inject

something i know about the purpose of the thread

or something important about revit..

You should save your project as two models and link them together. Once positioned, turn on shared coordinates and pin those links down!

Otherwise, just let the one side grow 8" and go with it!
