WYS1WWYG I am not totally sure but it seems to me that the solution of dgcad above is the same. Without any connection, thanks for your reply regarding the render material dialog box,it's probably going to be the solution .

yes reinstalling the program most likely will be the solution..

also keep in mind that when ANY software program behaves

strange like that- there is most likely serious corruption at the

foundation of the program.. and when you also suspect there

is serious corruption with your operating system- you

need to reinstall that too.. one should always

keep all of their work saved to an external drive

at all times..

that way you can quickly wipe everything off

your hard drive if you need to- and put revit

AND the OS back on the drive CLEAN.. windows 7

is especially made for quick and easy reinstalling..

hardware is nearly never the problem..
