Hi, i added a image to illustrate,

Is there any way to make revit draw the 3D view the same way it draws the plan view here?

Kind regards,

D

Unless you do the brick as a seperate wall - no.  But you can disallow join for these walls at this location and if you have the brick wall set to wrap exterior at end, then the brick will return for the full depth of that wall which may be what you really want.

no the brick shouldn't wrap the whole width of the wall , just hit the end of it so that the plaster can hit the back of the brick.

just like it is drawn in plan view in the image.

disallow joining the plaster wall then dragging both walls to where they should come, and then joining them works, but that creates a wrong illustration of the other wall layers in planview,

this ofcourse can be fixed with some masking regions, and is probebly the to go here,

any more straight forward methods are still welcome,

Time to add a wish-list item.  It would be nice if we could unlock a wall layer and adjust it in plan like we can vertically.
