Hi, i am trying to see if its possible to have a good looking colored planview for my salesplans directly from revit but i cant seem to figure out why in some planviews my floors show its shading color and in others it doesnt. anyone encounterd this and knows why this is? using rac 2008 Kind regards, D

It would appear that it is only the floor that is not displaying properly. Check that this is the same type of floor and that the element properties are the same. Have you considered rendering the plan for your presentation? This can be achieved by creating a section box of a 3D view and then orientating it to the plan. The result can look very good.

the orient 3d view to plan thing isnt going to work out, there is to much info that doesnt show, the floor used in both images is the same floortype just in a different view. i did my best to set every viewport option to the same but it has not worked.

i would create a view template from the view that is correct and apply to the other view. HTH

A few things you can check. 1. Do you have one on Hidden line and one on Wireframe? 2. Check "Color Scheme Location" and see if one is set to Foreground and one to Background. 3. Check to make sure Color Scheme is assigned. 4. If you are using just "Shaded View" then check VV to see if there is a Floor Overide. 5. Change to a Color Scheme if you are using "Shaded View"

tytytytytytyty it was the colos scheme thing that was set different, the good one was set to none and the bad one was set to a preset, i set that one also to none and now it looks fine, tnx!!! D
