Radiate it's proprely to interior renders, when you talk about "Trees..." i supose you are trying to render a exterior scene, but, when you radiate you must click several times in "continue" until your "Residual" is low "e.g. 0.15 or 0.10", then after you radiate your scene you can Render and everything it's ok....

Yes, rendering is completely seperat from radiating. Once you radiate, render and your materials will show up in full.

OK RASMUS, this problem appears several times when you don't follow some rules: 1º - you must join your walls each other and join with the floor and the celling, use "JOIN GEOMETRY and EDIT WALL JOINS".

2º - After this, you must radiate several times until your "Residual" goes to "0.10 or 0.15", it takes several hours (depend of your hardware) in Revit, if you use 3DS MAX or VIZ it's faster but in this case (Revit) you have to be patient...

Follow this simple rules and in the final you have a realistic Render... Enjoy.

I don't no man, are you working with SP3 installed? with 0.07 residual must be fine, are you render with 300 Dpi?

Rasmus, Autodesk launch 3 Service pack for Autodesk products including Revit, so, you must install Revit SP3 and i think your problems are solved...
