5.   Now hit Control-I (for Invert not 1 (one) ) or select Image –Adjust- Invert from the Pull downs. You will get a black line on white background as shown below. (Neat way to draw – This works with Photographs of buildings, people, cars, trees – giving you ideas yet?)

6.   We only want the lines though. In Photoshop, in layers, this white is opaque. So using the Select pull down on the top of the screen, select Color Range, and use the eye dropper cursor to select a section of the white “sky”. Set the range at 100. Should look something like below Hit okay, and the “dotted” selection comes up, and then hit the delete key. This will remove the white from this layer. If you have the other layers still turned off, what was white is now shown as a checker board pattern. Rename your layer “Smart Blur 3.0/25 – Invert, delete white” or similar.
