Staircase question here, Please find enclosed image, I have a 3 flights staircase & I draw the runs in one sketch...That is what revit generated Does this means I have to draw this in 2 sketchs with 3 levels? Second questions, how to reduce the size of stringer & keep it covering the threads? I did reduced the size of stringer in this case but reduce the size from top down until it exposed my landing....I prefer it to reduce from bottom up.. Thanks for the workaround first..

Again, It is better to create brand new family for this staircase? > but it will take a lot of time and hard to get it working parametric the next time around or create and load in a brand new profile for the baluster can make the trick... > saw some great staircase tricks in AUGI on creating a cantilavered staircase but somehow doubted that can do the tricks.. Any other ideas? or it is just something I did wrong on the property setting..

Guys, I found the problems & solutions already...basically the boundary can't not intercept or overlap. The workaround is by offseting the boundary line inward from the lower staircase (say by 1mm) can give a clear run of stringers and railings. Yet to found out how to solve the stringers depth issues. Helps please.

How do you sketch a 3 flight stair in the first place. Whenever I try it tells me that the stair is overlapping and "Highlighted lines overlap. Lines may not form closed loops." I have tried to search this forum and the help files associated with Revit to no avail. Please help. Thank you, Hunter van Leeuwen
