So I searched and couldn't find anything.  But I am trying to fix the elevation door swing to be a dash, dot, dash line.  When I got to the settings menu the Linetypes option is not selectable.  I can only select Lineweights, and patterns.  Is there a way to edit the linetypes so I can change the symbolic lines to the correct line pattern?  thanks,

Lorne

I hope this answers your question. From what you just said, you want to change the door swing while editing the family from a solid line to a dash dot dash. Ok. If you go to line patterns, there is where you can select what type of line you wish to use.

Ok here's more to my reply.

  • Type VG to get into your visibility graphics
  • Select object styles
  • You will see three tabs at the top: Model Objects, Annotation Objects, and Imported Objects. This is where you can select which lines you want to change, what thickness, etc.

Let me know if this helps you out.
