This is my first post here, so hi everyone! I'm using Revit architecture 2008 and having a problem when using custom visibility graphics for structural elements. Basically I am modelling 2 fairly large (18 storey) buildings in separate model files and then linking them together into a separate file for drawings sheets. Seems to work well, but initially I set my columns to have a red fill pattern to assist the structural engineers co-ordination. I wish to keep that pattern for the GA's but have them grey on other drawings for example fire strategy drawings. So I go to visibility graphics/links/pick the relevant building/custom/model/structure/pattern override and pick a grey colour. This works great except for the large black dot which appear at the centre of every column and sheer wall! I can't figure out why they appear otr how to get rid of them. I've tried a search through the forums but can't find anything similar. Aplologies if this is a bit wordy but I thought the more descriptive the better, in order to help you help me. Cheers

No one, come across this one before? I've been in contact with our support company who think the dots may be analytical lines, but they don't know how to turn them off in revit architecture. Anyone know how to do this?

Hi Gazbo, I do revit consultance and support for many clients. It sounds like your support isn't up to scratch. If you feel your support is expensive not worth the cost then maybe you may consider giving me a chance. I do both in-house support (depends on where you are based) and web support. You can contact me at kingrevit@gmail.com
