I am creating a tapered column and I used the paint tool to add in my masonry stone material.  When I clicked one side...bingo worked fine.  Then I painted the other side and it's rotated 90 degrees?!?  So I went into my settings/materials and tried to duplicate my masonry stone to creat one that is 90 and 0 degrees.  Well with model hatches that are imported you can't rotate them.  So now I don't know what to do.  Any ideas how to fix this?

This link suggests that each instance of a model pattern can be rotated without having to define new pattern definitions
