Is there a way to change Revit 2008's default arc dimension leader. I would prefer to create one with straight lines and elbows. Thanks.

You can either click on your text after you've typed it, then choose one of the leaders in the option bar. Or you can click on the text > properties > uncheck "arc leaders". HTH JB

Yeah, I can get that to work with the text just fine, but not with dimension strings. If I drag the number so that a leader appears its always an arc leader. In order to be consistent w/ out text leaders (which have elbows), I would like to make the dimension string leaders the same. Thanks

Sorry, my bad. I mis-understood you. As far as I know I don't believe you can alter the arc when you drag the text. JB
