Like the title says, I'm importing some text that goes along with some details from AutoCAD to Revit Architecture 2008 and instead of showing the insulation and other detail components its coming in all blacked out... any ideas?  Can I import this onto a detail view or into a legend?  This is really annoying all the text comes in perfect.

Thanks for any help.

Anybody know a better way to get details into Revit from AutoCAD?

It may be an issue of linetype thickness?

The best way to do this, if they are standard details to be used agin is to make a new detail family, import the autocad detail then load that into your project.

There is a file accesable under the file menu - import/export settings/import line weights-dwg

This file maps the Autocad colours to Revit Line weights, you should customise this to your office standards. This will apply to autocad drawings directly imported into your project or into families.

Ok I'll see what I can do.  Thanks, for now I just redrafted the details and what not in Revit so it wasn't that bad. =)
