How do you change the default solid blue hatch in the section view?  I've looked everywhere and can't find it.

Thanks

Rosario

Everything.  Draw a quick house and make a section.  Than click on coarse detail.  Everything being cut turns to solid blue.   I'm guessing its a default for a course section.

Go to settings and in the drop down menu click material look for poche material then change its color to anything you like.

I'm sorry.  I forgot to state that I am refering to the 3d section box.  Not a section.  I don't see anything about a default section pattern under settings - materials.  Wouldn't it be in a more general option dialog?

If I have a detailed building it doesn't make sense for me to go into each material and change its coarse scale section pattern.

Click Settings, Material, scroll down to poche, modify the cut pattern color as you like.  This is a global setting, not by each assembly type. The section box defaults to this poche material for course scale.
