What do you mean "switch off a group"?

Make it dissapear/ make it not to show when i want to!

I have created a group for a typical room layout, but on the overall plan or siteplan Crying smaller scale ) i would like to turn them off! The group is also linked into the file i'am working on because of the size of the project! There is six different buildings and some of them have the same room layouts so it was easier to link in the group file to the different buildings! Making it easier to work on! Those file's are linked to one file that show the complete development! Hope it makes sense!

I don't understand what you are trying to do - perhaps it's your terminolgy.  As far as I know, you can't link a group into a rvt file but you can link a rvt file that contains a group.  You can load a group into your file but it is not visablly switchable (on/off).  It's elements act like the rest of the elements in the file so if you turn off walls in your VG, the walls in the group will turn off along with all the other walls.

You must have understood because you did answer my question! I just wanted to know if there was a way to switch of a group as a whole and not just the elements within the group! I got a work around for the problem! Thanks for your help!
