With the new floor shape tools, I use it to indicate floor falls, typically for bathrooms floor.  It is fine if you do not want to show floor finishes (floor tiles).  I find that the finishes  behave irradic and the allign tool do not work.  Did I miss something simple again?  Back to use detail lines? Not a big deal, but it was good to show falls and break lines if only 2D
