Beginning Revit user here-- When creating a simple gable end pitched roof, the slope defining walls cut the fascia as requested in the 2 cut-Square fascia box (ie 2xShadey but, the gable ends remain at the full thickness of the roof structure making the fascia profile not fit.  Anyone willing to give me a clue?

As well as setting this option you also need to set the dimension for how much is to be square cut.

thanks very much for the quick reply. I must be missing something very simple.  I have of course set that number to 0 7 1/4" because the lower fascia is cut correctly.  it's the gable end that stays at 12"  That number is a setting for that entire particular roof correct?
