I have a problem here. Would appreciate if the gurus can help out on this. Let say if I want to detail a tile roof design with Ridge and Hip tiles along the top edge of the roof, how could I do that? Any tip? Thanks. Please see attach drawing.

You can use the roof fascia sweep to attach to the hip and ridge lines. It highlights easily, but I personally have not had much success with this method. Another would be to make a generic roof based family or even a face based family that you could adjust to the slope of the roof. Or even in-place families would work in severe instances. It will take some setup time for your family, but if you do it all the time, it might be worth it.

Thank you Framerman. I will try out your method. Wonder is there any other method that is worth exploring?
