I was curious iof there is a fault with the render engine that it has a hard time going thru multiple layers of glass. I have a glass framed curtain wall building with some interior walls that are all glass. (ex terior wall is actually two layers) Does revit not like to render thru multiple layers of glass b/c the furthers layer of glass (the back one if looking thru three panes) is rendering black. It isnt my material b/c if i reverse angles, they render clear. Any suggestions or input?

When setting up your rendering scene settings, you need change the value for transparency bounces. This number (by default - 3) has to do with how many layers of transparent objects light will penetrate through. When the maximum is reached the output is black. Typically, I set it to be one layer higher then what is shown (i.e. for 4 planes I set it to 5).
