Hey everyone, new guy here.  I was wondering if there is a way to automatically rotate text in a device when placed for example on a wall?  Here is the thing...  Software provideds a standard and GFCI receptacle.  The standard appears with no text next to the receptacle when placed on a wall, and GFCI places "GFCI" next to it.  This is fine when you place this device on the south wall, so you can read it, not the others.  Is there a way to automatically rotate this text around so it can be read from west, north, and east wall placements?  One would think so.  I'm just trying to avoid making 4 of everything...  Thanks for your help in advance.

hi

try right clicking and go to properties and possibly there might be a rotate in the elements property.  or create a new GFCI family with this auto rotate option.  Another is to make another GFCI family and have the GFCI label vertical and horizontal the other.

I haven't had a lot of experience  either with the electrical labeling , bu these are some of my thoughts.

See the attached one for reverse engineering.  Basically the GFI is a nested annotation that is always 'readable' a properties under Family Categories and Parameters
