Is there any way to add volume to a toposurface, so that when displayed in 3D view it doesn´t show up just like a hollow floating mesh, but rather than a closed volume with "walls" or planes following the suface borders like the ones generated when a Pad cuts the terrain?

To my knowledge, no. You can however (if you really need a solid floating mesh as opposed to a thin floating mesh) make points just outside of the border of you toposurface that are relatively lower than the border (say -250' or so) If you find something otherwise, let us know!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |
