I want to create a callout with only the head to track details. I want to use this callout in a drafting view. The drafting view is a detail with notes and the callout will after a note. For intance; BLA BLA BLA, SEE DETAIL ( callout head only) This callout will work the same as the defaul callout, but without the the dashed rectanble. Please let me know if its doable, how or if you can redirect me to where I can find info on this. The point is that I want the callout to keep track of where the referenced detail is and to label itself automatically.Thanx

One thing you can do is draw a really small box right next to the callout head

I am having the same issue, and ultimatly fell to the same conclusion. Making the leader lines/call out box really small, and then I bumped up the line wt. of the head. It strikes me as really odd that revit has come this far and simple detail tag is not possible... Really?

Has this changed since 2009? Is this still the soulition to this issue. I want to do this but this work around is ?!!@#%##
