I found the way to do it by creating a family with extruded circle along a path. The path has the angle that is parametric along with the length. Currently looking for a way to make the circle radius parametric..........

Ive made a similar type of column, however its rectangular. Created through a blend when you can specify the angle as well as the rectangle size. Let me know if you want to take a look as i'm sure you could edit it to have a circle in stead... Even have it taper if you like?

Mr. Spot, could you post the column that you have that tapers as well as leans? I am looking for a tapered beam and thought I could apply what you have done with the tapered and leaning column.

I understand there is a certain parameters that you could add up and matches to the length, howver,, you just need to work around on that to get the matchup.

richcollin,

I see that you just joined today and you have made two posts - both don't seem to make much sense.

You did notice that this thread was last posted in 2006?

Are you just bored?
