I am having this problem when I have a 3d view with people on the other side of glass. Sometimes they show up fine and other times they render as black squares. I do a 25 step "better" radiosity then radiate at "better" or "best" setting. Sometimes this will happen with RPC's. I notice the problem happens more frequently when you have multiple RPC's in front/behind each other or when there are reflections being calculated. Sometimes rotating the RPC a few degrees can make the difference. Also try moving in plan view a bit to see if things clear up. Sometimes nothing seems to wrok though. HTH
