is there a more specified selection filter option in revit? (e.g. wanna filter walls starting from levelX or doors as family type X, etc)

Good luck getting that specific with the filter button. However, if you want all doors of typeX, you can right click one of them and "select all instances" it will give you every instance of that door that is exactly the same, but not of the type if you, say, have different sizes you want to select. It will let you select all doors of typeX that are sizeY, but only sizeY. If you want sizeZ too, you have to select those separately.

what i meant was sth like autocads "quick select" or archicads similar filtering option. i guess i sometimes lack that kindda tool
